Semflow
Connect Semflow with Webflow to run AI-assisted SEO audits, keyword research, rank tracking, schema markup, and metadata generation directly inside the Webflow Designer.
How to integrate Semflow with Webflow
The only way to set up your Semflow Webflow integration is by installing the Semflow app from the Webflow Apps marketplace and the Semflow Chrome extension. Both steps are required. The marketplace authorization grants Semflow access to your Webflow site data, and the Chrome extension adds the Semflow panel inside the Webflow Designer.
Use the Semflow app
Install Semflow from the Webflow Apps marketplace and add the Semflow Chrome extension. Log into both your Semflow and Webflow accounts to authorize the connection. Once set up, Semflow appears as a sidebar panel inside the Webflow Designer.
To get started, follow these steps:
- Install the app from the Webflow Apps marketplace and authorize access to your sites
- Install the Semflow Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store
- Log into your Semflow account
- Open the Webflow Designer — Semflow appears in the sidebar
The following features are available without writing any code
- Run automated crawl-based SEO audits that identify technical issues across your Webflow site.
- Research target keywords and analyze search volume, difficulty, and rankability score directly in Webflow.
- Monitor keyword ranking positions over time without leaving Webflow.
- Add structured data (FAQ, LocalBusiness, Services, Articles, and more) using the schema markup builder's templates. The builder writes JSON-LD markup to your Webflow pages through the Webflow API, so changes appear on your published site.
- Generate title tags and meta descriptions using AI prompts. Like the schema builder, metadata changes are written to your pages through the Webflow API.
- Track Core Web Vitals and Google PageSpeed Insights scores.
- Export detailed SEO progress reports as PDFs for client sharing.
Semflow uses OAuth-based authentication — no credentials are shared between platforms. The app requests read and write permissions for CMS data, page data, and site data through the Webflow API. Audit, keyword research, and rank tracking features are read-only and do not modify your site. The schema builder and AI metadata tools do write changes to your pages.
Work with CMS pages
Semflow can audit and generate metadata for Webflow CMS collection pages. It uses crawl-based detection, so new or updated CMS items may not appear in Semflow immediately after publishing. If new CMS pages aren't showing up, disable and re-enable the sitemap in Webflow site settings, republish your site, and run a fresh crawl in Semflow.
Generate location-specific SEO content
Semflow's website provides geo-targeted AI SEO prompt templates for generating location-specific metadata and local business schema. These are prompt templates you use alongside the schema builder. Copy a prompt, generate content, and apply it through Semflow's tools. The schema builder includes templates for LocalBusiness structured data that you can deploy without editing HTML directly.
What you can build
Integrate Semflow with Webflow to run SEO research, audits, and content optimization from within the Designer.
- SEO-ready blog with CMS-driven content: Use Semflow's keyword research to identify target terms for each blog post in a Webflow CMS collection. Apply AI-generated title tags and meta descriptions per collection item, and add FAQ schema using the schema builder, all from within the Designer.
- Local service business site with structured data: Build a Webflow site for a local business. Use Semflow's geo-targeted prompt templates and schema builder to add LocalBusiness markup, generate location-specific meta tags per service page, and deploy FAQ schema.
- Multi-client site management: Manage multiple Webflow client sites from one Semflow account. Run per-site crawl audits to identify technical issues, then export PDF progress reports showing SEO improvements over time. Each client site must be individually connected. There is no shared team dashboard across accounts.
- Campaign landing page with rank tracking: Design a campaign landing page in Webflow. Use Semflow to research target keywords, generate optimized metadata with AI prompts, and monitor ranking positions over time.
Frequently asked questions
It depends on which features you use. Audit, keyword research, rank tracking, and PageSpeed monitoring are read-only. They do not modify your site. The schema markup builder and AI metadata generator do write changes to your Webflow pages through the Webflow API (JSON-LD scripts for schema, updated title tags and meta descriptions). These changes appear on your published site after you publish in Webflow.
Semflow uses crawl-based detection rather than real-time sync. New or updated CMS pages may not appear immediately. Disable and re-enable the sitemap in Webflow site settings, republish your site, and run a fresh crawl in Semflow.
No. Semflow does not expose a public API or webhook endpoints. The only supported integration is through the Webflow Apps marketplace and Chrome extension. Webflow itself supports these automation platforms for CMS and form workflows, but those connections cannot trigger or read Semflow data.
