How to integrate Form Payments with Webflow

The easiest way to set up your Form Payments integration is by installing the Form Payments app from the Webflow Marketplace. You can also access form data through Webflow webhooks for automation workflows.

Plan requirement: You need a paid Webflow site plan (Basic or higher) to use Form Payments on a published site with a custom domain.

Use the Form Payments app

Install Form Payments from the Webflow Marketplace, connect your Stripe account, and configure payment fields on your forms. The app handles payment processing without requiring you to build checkout pages or manage payment infrastructure.

Implementation steps:

1. Install Form Payments from the Webflow Marketplace
2. Connect your Stripe account through the app settings
3. Add payment amount fields to your Webflow forms
4. Configure payment options (fixed amounts, customer-selected amounts, or calculated totals)
5. Publish your site to start collecting payments

Note: The app requires Designer workflow access and custom code permissions. Review the permission requirements on the Marketplace listing before installation.

Compliance requirement: Payment collection requires HTTPS across your entire site (Webflow handles this automatically for published sites) and compliance with PCI DSS standards. When using Form Payments with Stripe, most PCI compliance responsibilities are handled by Stripe — review your specific obligations at the PCI Security Standards Council.

Access form data through Webflow webhooks

Form Payments data flows through Webflow's standard form submission webhooks. Use automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n to trigger workflows when forms are submitted.

Important limitation: Webflow's webhook payload does not include payment confirmation data from Form Payments. For workflows requiring verified payment status (like digital product delivery), configure direct webhooks from Stripe to receive payment confirmation events separately from form submissions. This requires technical expertise or developer assistance.
