See comments on the canvas while you work

As part of our ongoing investment in making the feedback, review, and QA process smoother than ever in Webflow, today we added the ability to see comments on the canvas while you’re working. This update will make it faster and easier to identify and interact with feedback without having to toggle in and out of comment mode.

Now you can hover over, reply to, react to, or resolve comments while you continue designing and building. Comments stay visible in context, so you can quickly address feedback and keep your creative flow uninterrupted. Keyboard shortcuts to keep in mind:

• Press Shift + C to hide or restore comments on the canvas
• Press C to create comments or to open/close the comment side panel

This is just the latest investment we’ve made into streamlining how you run the feedback and review process with your teammates and clients. We also recently added things like being able to see custom code – like animations and forms – when leaving comments, comment-only links that allow stakeholders to review and comment without an account, comment metadata like what browser and screen size the person leaving the feedback was on, and so much more.
