Template Creator Program Updates: 95% Commissions and Expanded Reach

We’re excited to announce two major updates to the Webflow Template Creator Program designed to give creators more flexibility and greater earning potential.

These enhancements put more revenue directly in your pocket, expand your reach, and give you more control over how and where you sell your templates.

Here’s what’s new:

Increased commissions

Starting today, Template Creators will now earn 95% commission on all paid templates sold via the Webflow Marketplace. Webflow will only keep 5% of each template sale to cover the cost of our payment processing system. This increase ensures you keep more of what you earn, and rewards the craft and hard work you put into every design.

Sell templates outside of the Webflow Marketplace with fulfillment links

Until now, creators could not effectively sell Webflow templates outside of the Webflow Marketplace, as fulfilling these external orders required creators to manually duplicate and transfer the site to each purchaser.

We heard your feedback: you want the freedom to sell on your own terms, in the places where your buyers already transact. That’s why we introduced fulfillment links, which gives you the flexibility to expand your templates beyond the Webflow Marketplace.

Fulfillment links are unique URLs that allow you to automatically deliver your template to your customers once they purchase your template outside the Webflow Marketplace, making it easy for you to sell your templates anywhere.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Generate a fulfillment link for each template you want to sell outside of Webflow
  2. List your template externally (e.g. on your website, a third-party marketplace, etc.) and set your own price
  3. Collect payment through your external site/platform
  4. Share your fulfillment link with the buyer after they purchase
  5. Buyers use the link to instantly install the template in their Webflow workspace (Note: If your buyer is not on Webflow yet, they’ll automatically go through a guided flow to sign up and install your template)

Explore the details of how fulfillment links work in our Help Center article, or learn more about this feature in our latest blog post.
