How to integrate AstroIC with Webflow
Webflow Ecommerce doesn't include native invoice generation with company branding, and bulk editing products requires opening each item individually. AstroIC addresses both limitations through OAuth authorization, providing two core capabilities: invoice generation with custom branding and bulk import/export and editing for product catalogs.
This integration is useful if you need to print invoices for order fulfillment or regularly update pricing, images, or inventory details across hundreds of products.
Connect AstroIC through OAuth authorization
AstroIC connects to Webflow through OAuth, Webflow's API authentication standard, via its external dashboard at astroic.com. The OAuth connection gives AstroIC read access to order data and write access to product data. No code, embed scripts, or installation required in Webflow.
Start by creating an account at astroic.com. After signing up, authorize AstroIC to connect to your Webflow sites through the OAuth flow. The platform requests ecommerce scopes, which are Webflow API permissions that control data access, to read order information and write product data. AstroIC's invoice generation supports the following operations:
- Printing or downloading individual order invoices
- Bulk printing invoices for multiple orders
- Adding a company logo to invoice templates
- Including custom return instructions on invoices
AstroIC's bulk product operations include:
- Exporting products to CSV files, including custom fields
- Importing new products in bulk
- Editing existing product details across catalogs
- Updating SKU-level information like pricing and variant-specific attributes
AstroIC does not publish separate CSV format or field mapping documentation. Instead, you get the correct schema by performing a bulk export in AstroIC and reusing that file as your import template. The free tier allows only 3 invoices and 3 bulk imports, so it's mainly useful for testing before upgrading to a paid plan.
AstroIC operates within Webflow's API rate limits: Starter and Basic plans allow 60 requests per minute, while CMS, Business, and eCommerce plans allow 120 requests per minute. Large bulk operations may take several minutes, depending on your Webflow plan tier and the number of products processed.
The platform provides tiered access based on catalog size. Free accounts allow up to 3 invoices and 3 bulk imports. Paid plans are available for catalogs with 100 products, 1,000 products, and unlimited products, with priority support. See the AstroIC pricing page for current rates.

You can connect any of your Webflow sites to AstroIC, but only Ecommerce sites expose the orders and products that AstroIC manages. AstroIC is distributed exclusively through direct signup at astroic.com and is not available on the Webflow Marketplace. You can connect unlimited Webflow sites to AstroIC on any plan tier, including the free account.
When performing bulk operations, AstroIC interacts with Webflow via its API, which enforces rate limits based on your Webflow plan tier. Webflow also enforces a hard limit of 1 site publish per minute across all plan tiers. Because large bulk imports or exports must work within these constraints, operations may take several minutes depending on your plan tier and the number of products processed.
AstroIC focuses on functional invoice generation rather than extensive design customization. You can add your company logo and include custom return instructions, but the platform doesn't offer layout templates, color schemes, typography controls, or field-level customization. If you need more control over invoice design for Webflow orders, consider using Webflow's native order notification system or an external invoice generation service with Webflow API integration.
