How to integrate Schema Flow with Webflow
The easiest way to set up your Schema Flow Webflow integration is by installing the Schema Flow app from the Webflow Apps marketplace. The app provides AI-assisted schema generation, CMS collection mapping, and one-click publishing inside Webflow.
For one-off pages or simpler needs, you can also paste JSON-LD manually into Webflow's custom code settings or Code Embed elements without any app installation.
Use the Schema Flow app
The Schema Flow app is available from the Webflow Apps marketplace and runs inside Webflow. It scans your pages, suggests schema types based on your content, and lets you configure everything through form-based inputs. You publish the schema to your live site without leaving Webflow.
Follow these steps to implement:
- Once the Schema Flow app is installed, click Add to Site
- Open the app in Webflow, select a schema type, and fill in or AI-prefill your fields
- Map any CMS collections to schema properties
- Publish your Webflow site
- Validate your markup using the Schema Markup Validator and Google's Rich Results Test to confirm everything renders correctly
Map CMS collections for dynamic schema
For sites with blog posts, product listings, or other CMS-driven pages, CMS collection mapping is where Schema Flow saves the most time. Set up a template once, and it applies to every item in that collection.
Open Schema Flow in Webflow, select the collection you want to map, and connect each CMS field to its corresponding schema property. For example:
- Map a blog post's title field to the Article schema's
headlineproperty, your author reference toauthor, and your publish date todatePublished - Map product collections to the Product schema with fields for
name,price,availability, andimage - Apply CMS filters to control which items receive schema, such as excluding draft posts or specific categories
Schema Flow generates unique JSON-LD for each collection item based on its CMS data. After configuration, publish your Webflow site, and Schema Flow injects the structured data into live pages automatically.
Add JSON-LD manually with custom code
If you need schema markup on a single page or prefer writing your own JSON-LD, Webflow's built-in custom code works without any app installation. This method gives you full control over the markup but requires you to write and maintain JSON-LD by hand.

Webflow's Code Embed element on CMS collection template pages does support dynamic field injection via the Add Field button, which lets you insert CMS values into your JSON-LD. This method requires JSON-LD knowledge and careful handling of character encoding. CMS field values are HTML-encoded, which can break JSON validity when values contain special characters. Custom code in Page Settings and Site Settings does not support dynamic CMS fields.
For sites with more than a handful of pages needing schema, the Schema Flow app is a better fit. It handles CMS mapping automatically and avoids encoding issues.
