How to integrate Shipmondo with Webflow

Shipmondo has no official Webflow marketplace app. Connect through Zapier for no-code automation, embed the Return Portal for self-service returns, or build custom API integration using serverless middleware for advanced workflows.

Automate with Zapier

Use the pre-built Zapier template to create draft shipments from Webflow orders automatically. Connect your accounts through Zapier's interface, map order fields to shipment requirements, and activate the automation.

Limitations: Zapier automation creates draft shipments only. It doesn't support automated label generation or custom carrier logic. For those capabilities, you need custom API integration.

Embed the Return Portal

Embed Shipmondo's Return Portal on your Webflow site using an iframe. Customers can initiate returns, print labels, and select resolution preferences (refund, exchange, store credit) without contacting support.

Add a Code Embed element to your returns page and paste the iframe code with your unique Return Portal URL from Shipmondo's dashboard. The portal supports white-label customization, including logo, colors, and text.

Build with Shipmondo APIs

For automated label generation, tracking sync, and customs automation, build custom integration using serverless middleware (AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers). Direct API calls from Webflow aren't possible due to CORS restrictions.

Architecture

Webflow ecomm_new_order webhooks trigger your serverless function → fetch order details via Webflow API → create shipments via Shipmondo API → sync tracking back to Webflow.

Authentication

Shipmondo uses HTTP Basic Auth with Base64-encoded credentials. Store credentials in environment variables. Never expose in client-side code.

Important limitation: Shipmondo does not provide rate calculation endpoints for real-time shipping cost quotes. You cannot display live carrier rates at checkout through Shipmondo's API. The carrier setup endpoint returns available products and carriers, not pricing.

• Automated order fulfillment: Webflow orders trigger Shipmondo label generation through serverless middleware. Tracking numbers sync back to Webflow orders automatically.
• Branded returns portal: Embed Shipmondo's return interface where customers initiate returns, select resolution preferences, and print labels without contacting support.
• International shipping automation: Generate customs declarations automatically for cross-border orders. Include HS codes, country of origin, and declared values in shipment requests.
• Nordic carrier access: Connect to PostNord, Bring, GLS, and DHL for Nordic shipping. Note: GLS doesn't support delivery to Iceland, Greenland, or the Faroe Islands — use PostNord for those territories.
