Stockpress
Connect Stockpress, a digital asset management platform, with Webflow to browse, search, and place brand assets directly in Webflow without switching platforms.
How to integrate Stockpress with Webflow
The easiest way to set up your Stockpress Webflow integration is by installing the Stockpress app from the Webflow Apps marketplace. The app lets you browse your full Stockpress workspace, search files with AI-powered tagging, and place images on your site — all from inside Webflow.
If you need to manage CMS content programmatically, like batch-creating collection items with asset URLs or automating publish workflows, you can also build with the Webflow API. Stockpress does not currently offer a public API, so all programmatic work runs through Webflow's endpoints.
Use the Stockpress app
Install the Stockpress app from the Webflow Apps marketplace to bring your full asset library into Webflow. The app runs inside Webflow. You browse, search, and place assets during design. Assets placed through the app render as standard Webflow images on your published site. The app does not provide embed codes or JavaScript widgets for live sites.
Implementation steps:
- Install the Stockpress app from the Webflow Apps marketplace
- Authorize the app for your Webflow site(s) and connect your Stockpress workspace
- Open the Stockpress panel in Webflow
- Browse or search for assets using keywords, AI-generated tags, or dynamic filters
- Select an image element on your canvas and choose a file from Stockpress to replace it, or use the Upload to Webflow icon to stage files in the Assets panel for later use
- Publish your site
If your Stockpress and Webflow accounts use different email addresses, the authorization flow lets you specify a different email. The Stockpress for Webflow guide covers each setup step.
The app supports the following features:
- Search for assets by keyword or auto-generated tag with approximately 90% tagging accuracy.
- Filter results dynamically by file status, type, orientation, and upload date.
- Select an image element on your canvas and replace it with a file from Stockpress in one click.
- Stage files in the Webflow Assets panel for use across pages.
- Track uploads, downloads, and share link views within your Stockpress workspace.
Build with the Webflow API
For teams managing large volumes of CMS content, Webflow's Data API v2 enables programmatic creation and updates of collection items after selecting assets through the Stockpress app. Asset discovery and URL extraction still require manual interaction with the Stockpress app. There is no bulk URL export from Stockpress.
This is an advanced workflow suited for teams with development resources. For enterprise-scale needs, contact Stockpress directly about private API options.
Relevant endpoints:
- Use
POST /v2/collections/:collection_id/itemsto create CMS items with asset URLs retrieved from Stockpress. - Use
PATCH /v2/collections/:collection_id/items/:item_idto update existing CMS items. - Use
GET /v2/collections/:collection_id/itemsto list collection items and audit CMS records. - Call
POST /v2/sites/:site_id/publishto publish your site after batch updates.
Authentication requires a Bearer token with appropriate scopes. See Webflow's API documentation for full current auth details.
CMS image fields accept publicly accessible direct URLs. If your Stockpress asset URLs are publicly accessible and resolve to a direct image file (not a redirect or authenticated link), you can reference them in CMS items. Set isDraft: true to stage items for review before publishing.
What you can build
Integrate Stockpress with Webflow to connect a central asset library directly to your design and content management workflow.
- Multi-site brand asset hub: Maintain one Stockpress library that feeds approved logos, product images, and campaign assets into multiple Webflow sites. This keeps visuals consistent across regional or product-specific properties.
- Agency portfolio site: Build a Webflow portfolio where each case study pulls project images directly from organized Stockpress collections. This reduces asset handoff time between designers and developers.
- Product catalog with version-controlled imagery: Create a CMS-driven product gallery where product photos are sourced from Stockpress. Use file statuses like "Ready for Webflow" to prevent outdated images from reaching the live site.
- Event or campaign microsite: Spin up a time-sensitive landing page and pull event photography, speaker headshots, and sponsor logos from a shared Stockpress workspace. Paid Stockpress plans support unlimited users. The free plan supports up to 10 users with 3 GB storage.
Frequently asked questions
