Introduction
Our goal is to maintain a safe, helpful, and friendly community environment for all — regardless of experience, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, nationality, technology choices, or other defining characteristics. This code of conduct and related procedures aim to prevent unacceptable behavior in all community venues. This includes behavior outside the scope of community activities — both online and in-person — and anywhere such behavior has the potential to adversely affect the safety and well-being of all Webflow Community members.
We’re inclusive
The Webflow Community represents multiple forms of diversity. We're committed to fostering an environment where everyone is valued and respected, and feels a sense of belonging across — not in spite of — our unique identities. Community members are expected to contribute to a culture of inclusion in their interactions with others.
We’re anti-racist
We recognize that we can only realize our inclusion and equity goals and commitments by explicitly addressing systems of racism and exclusion. In order to create a truly inclusive and equitable environment, we must first acknowledge, confront, and combat systems and experiences of racism and inequality. We expect all community members to practice self-awareness and social responsibility in relation to race, racism, and whiteness as intersectional issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We’re anti-harassment
The Webflow Community provides a harassment-free learning environment for everyone, regardless of:
- Gender
- Gender identity
- Gender expression
- Age
- Sexual orientation
- Disability
- Physical appearance
- Body size
- Race
- Ethnicity
- Native language
- Religion, or lack thereof
- Technology choices
Harassment includes:
- Offensive verbal comments related to any of the above
- Sexual images in public spaces
- Deliberate intimidation
- Stalking
- Unsolicited photography or recording
- Sustained disruption
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unwelcome sexual attention
Reporting
You can make a report either personally or anonymously. If you see a code of conduct violation and you’re comfortable doing so, let the person know that what they did is inappropriate and ask them to stop. That person should immediately stop the behavior and correct the issue.
If the behavior continues, or if you’re not comfortable speaking up, there are several ways we can support you.
Reporting inappropriate behavior at a Webflow Sponsored Event or Webflow Chapter Event:
- Contact event organizers or a Webflow Community team member as soon as possible (in person at the event, anonymously using the form below, or send us an email).
- The event organizer or staff member will either take immediate action to remedy the situation or address the issue and take further action as soon as possible.
Our team will be happy to help you:
- Contact venue security, local law enforcement, or local support services
- Provide escorts, or otherwise assist you to feel safe for the duration of the event
Personal reports:
- Once you’re safe, we’ll ask you to tell us what happened. We call this a personal report.
- When taking a personal report, the event organizer or Webflow staff member will prioritize your safety and voice. They may involve other event staff to ensure your report is managed properly, but your privacy is of the utmost importance — we won’t tell anyone who you are.
- You can bring someone to support you.
- You won’t be asked to confront anyone
Reporting inappropriate behavior In one of our Webflow Online Communities (Forum or Facebook):
- Contact a Webflow Community team as soon as possible by reaching out to us anonymously using the form below, or send us an email.
- A staff member will either take immediate action to remedy the situation or address the issue and take further action as soon as possible.
Enforcement
Anyone that is not following this Code of Conduct that is asked to correct their behavior must do so immediately. If a community member engages in any unacceptable behavior, the Webflow Community team may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expelling them from any of the Webflow Community spaces including the online forum, Facebook Groups, virtual events, and in-person events.
