Code of Conduct
These Webflow Code of Conduct standards ("Code") set forth the ethical, legal, and operational standards that govern Webflow's business conduct. This Code applies to all Webflow employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners. They reflect the principles and practices Webflow upholds across all of its business operations and commercial relationships.
Inclusivity, non-discrimination, and anti-harassment
Webflow is committed to maintaining an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment for all individuals who interact with the company. Discrimination, harassment, and bullying on the basis of any protected category are prohibited, including but not limited to:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Gender identity or expression
- Sexual orientation
- Religion or religious practices
- Disability or medical condition
- Age, marital status, veteran status
- Any other characteristic protected under applicable law
Unlawful harassment and hostile conduct are strictly prohibited. All individuals performing work for or on behalf of Webflow are expected to meet these same standards.
Forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking
Webflow has zero tolerance for forced labor, slavery, or human trafficking. All work must be voluntary. We prohibit the use of:
- Forced, bonded, or indentured labor
- Child labor, as defined by applicable minimum age laws
- Exploitation through coercion, fraud, or threat
All employees, contractors, and suppliers are required to comply with applicable labor laws and human rights standards.
Data privacy and information security
Webflow is committed to safeguarding personal, confidential, and proprietary information. Webflow maintains independently audited security certifications and compliance programs aligned with recognized industry standards. Our security practices and certifications are available in our Trust Center. Our workforce is required to:
- Comply with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations
- Use data only for authorized business purposes
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and user data
- Secure data against unauthorized access or disclosure
We maintain internal policies, incident response procedures to respond to security incidents and notify affected customers when required, and training to support privacy and data protection compliance. Webflow's data processing practices are governed by its publicly available Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
Anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and gifts
Webflow strictly prohibits all forms of bribery, kickbacks, and corrupt practices. This includes:
- Offering or accepting anything of value to improperly influence a decision
- Providing gifts or entertainment in exchange for business advantage
- Making or receiving facilitation payments
Gifts and business hospitality may be provided or accepted only if:
- They comply with applicable company policy
- They remain responsible and appropriate
- They are not cash or cash equivalents
- They are not given during active negotiations or competitive bids
Fair competition and antitrust
Webflow competes fairly and in compliance with all applicable antitrust and competition laws. We prohibit:
- Price-fixing, bid-rigging, or market allocation agreements with competitors
- Abuse of market position or unfair trade practices
- Exchanging competitively sensitive information with competitors
All business decisions must be made independently and based on legitimate competitive factors.
Trade compliance and sanctions
Webflow complies with all applicable trade controls, export regulations, and economic sanctions, including those administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury (OFAC), the U.S. Department of Commerce, and equivalent authorities in other jurisdictions. We prohibit:
- Conducting business with sanctioned countries, entities, or individuals
- Exporting or re-exporting products, technology, or data in violation of applicable export control laws
- Evading or facilitating the evasion of trade restrictions
Business continuity and disaster recovery
Webflow maintains business continuity and disaster recovery plans designed to support the availability and resilience of its platform and business operations. Additional information is available in our Trust Center.
Intellectual property protection
Webflow respects the intellectual property rights of others and protects its own. All individuals performing work for or on behalf of Webflow must:
- Use only properly licensed software, content, and third-party materials
- Refrain from misappropriating trade secrets or proprietary information of any third party
- Protect Webflow's intellectual property, including source code, designs, trademarks, and proprietary methodologies
Responsible use of artificial intelligence
Webflow is committed to the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence. We design AI-powered features with the following principles in mind:
- Transparency about when and how AI is used in our products
- Fairness and bias mitigation in AI systems
- Human oversight of AI-driven decisions that materially affect users
- Compliance with applicable AI governance laws and frameworks
- Commitment to not use customer data to train AI models except as disclosed and authorized under applicable agreements or customer controls

Accurate books, records,financial integrity and anti-money laundering
Webflow maintains accurate and complete business records in compliance with all applicable accounting standards and legal requirements. We prohibit:
- Falsifying or manipulating financial records, expense reports, or business documents
- Maintaining undisclosed or unrecorded funds or accounts
- Circumventing internal financial controls
All transactions must be properly authorized, recorded, and supported by appropriate documentation. Webflow complies with all applicable anti-money laundering laws.
Accessibility, health and safety, and environmental responsibility
Webflow is committed to making its products and services accessible to individuals with disabilities. We design and develop with accessibility standards in mind, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA or successor guidelines), and we continuously work to improve platform accessibility.
Webflow complies with applicable occupational health and safety laws and is committed to maintaining safe working conditions for all employees and contractors. Webflow promotes environmentally responsible practices and social impact where applicable. We:
- Encourage resource conservation and remote-first work to reduce environmental impact
- Evaluate and seek to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and infrastructure
- Maintain safe and respectful workplaces
- Support inclusive employment practices and fair labor globally
Subcontractor and supply chain standards
Webflow expects its vendors, subcontractors, and other supply chain partners to adhere to standards consistent with those set forth in this Code. This expectation extends to labor practices, data privacy, anti-corruption, trade compliance, and all other areas addressed herein. Webflow may assess compliance with this Code as part of its vendor evaluation and ongoing business relationship management processes.
Political activities and lobbying
Webflow does not use company resources for political contributions or lobbying activities in a manner that conflicts with applicable laws. No employee, contractor, or representative may make political contributions or engage in lobbying on behalf of Webflow without prior authorization.
Any political engagement conducted on behalf of Webflow must comply with all relevant regulations. Personal political activities must remain separate from Webflow business and may not involve the use of company funds, assets, or facilities.
Reporting violations, anti-retaliation, and compliance assurance
Webflow encourages the prompt reporting of any known or suspected violations of law or these standards. Concerns may be raised confidentially through designated internal channels or, for external parties, by submitting the below form or contacting Webflow at legal@webflow.com.
Webflow prohibits retaliation against any individual who, in good faith, reports a concern or participates in an investigation. All employees, contractors, and business partners are required to materially comply with this Code. Webflow reviews and updates this Code periodically to reflect changes in law, industry practice, and business operations. Webflow reserves the right to amend this Code at any time.
