Webflow Cloud updates bring 3–4× faster builds, HTTPS streaming, bulk .env uploads, decoupled publish and deploy, and clearer logs for AI and API-driven apps.
We’re rolling out a set of developer-focused improvements to Webflow Cloud that make deployments faster, debugging clearer, and support modern app development workflows, especially useful for teams building AI-driven or API-intensive services.
Key highlights
- 3–4× faster builds: Build times are dramatically reduced for most workloads, shortening feedback loops and lowering CI costs.
- HTTPS streaming responses: Accept streaming responses over HTTPS for Server-Sent Events and streaming model outputs so AI and real-time experiences work well in Cloud.
- Bulk .env uploads: Drop a .env file into Cloud to import environment variables in bulk. No more manual copy-and-paste.
- Decouple publish from deploy: Deploy app code and assets without immediately publishing the site, enabling safer development workflows.
- Improved Build & Deploy Logs: Logs now show clearer build and deploy and a copy-to-clipboard option action so debugging is faster.
