Logo To Use
Install the Logo To Use app to browse copyright-free logos and add them directly to your Webflow project's assets. You can also download logos from logotouse.com and upload them manually.
How to integrate Logo To Use with Webflow
Logo To Use connects to Webflow through two methods: the Logo To Use Webflow app for in-app browsing and asset management, and manual download and upload from the logotouse.com website.
The app is the faster path for most designers. Manual download works for teams who need logos outside of Webflow or want to batch-download files first.
Logo To Use does not provide a public API, webhooks, or integrations with automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n. Both methods below are manual, asset-based workflows.
Use the Logo To Use app
Install the Logo To Use app from the Webflow Apps Marketplace by clicking "Add to site" on the listing page. The app is free and requires no separate account or login.
Once installed, the app has read and write access to your site's assets and integrates with the Webflow designer workflow. You can launch it from the Apps panel inside Webflow, browse the logo library, and add logos to your project's assets without leaving the editor.
The app permissions include:
- Read and write assets on your Webflow site
- Read information about authorized users
- Read site data and publishing
- Designer workflow access
After you add a logo through the app, it appears in your Assets panel and can be placed on any page using Webflow's standard image element. You can reuse it across multiple pages within the same project.
Download logos from logotouse.com
If you prefer to work with downloaded files or need logos for use outside Webflow, browse the logo library directly at logotouse.com. Download logo files, then upload them to your Webflow project through the Assets panel.
To upload logos to Webflow:
- Open the Assets panel in Webflow (click the Assets icon in the left toolbar or press J)
- Drag and drop logo files into the panel, or click the upload button
- Organize assets within Webflow's folder structure for reuse across pages
Webflow's Assets panel supports the following image formats: PNG, JPEG/JPG, GIF, SVG, WebP, and AVIF. The maximum file size for images is 4MB, and filenames should be 100 characters or less, including the file extension.
SVG works well for logos that need to scale across different screen sizes without quality loss. For logos that will be used at fixed sizes, PNG or JPEG are also good options if available.
If you use Webflow Libraries, you can share uploaded logo assets across multiple sites in a Workspace, which is useful for agencies managing several client projects with placeholder content.
What you can build
Logo To Use gives Webflow designers access to a library of copyright-free placeholder logos that can be dropped into any project. This is most useful during the design and presentation phases, before final brand assets are ready.
Here are a few examples of what you can build:
- Client pitch mockups: Build website prototypes with professional-looking placeholder logos from Logo To Use. Present design concepts to clients without waiting for finalized branding or worrying about copyright issues with borrowed logos.
- Design system templates: Create reusable page layouts in Webflow with placeholder logos that clients swap out for their own brand assets after project approval. Combine with Webflow Libraries to share templates across your Workspace.
- Portfolio case studies: Develop sample projects that showcase your design skills using Logo To Use's copyright-free logos. This avoids intellectual property concerns when displaying work publicly on your portfolio site.
- Training and educational sites: Build demo websites for courses, tutorials, or internal team training using placeholder logos. Logo To Use's open license covers both commercial and non-commercial use, so training materials are covered.
To get started, install Logo To Use from the Webflow Apps Marketplace and browse the logo library directly inside Webflow.
Frequently asked questions
Go to the Logo To Use listing in the Webflow Apps Marketplace and click "Add to site." The app installs to your Webflow site and appears in the Apps panel. No separate Logo To Use account or login is required. Once installed, you can launch the app from within Webflow to browse and add logos.
Logo To Use's license allows free use for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. The two restrictions are that logos cannot be resold without significant modification, and they cannot be compiled to replicate a competing service. That said, these logos are designed as placeholders. For production sites, replace placeholder logos with your client's actual brand assets before launch.
Yes. After adding logos to your Webflow project's Assets panel, either through the app or manual upload, you can reference them in Webflow CMS collection items using image or file fields. This works well for portfolio sites or multi-brand landing pages where each collection item needs a different placeholder logo.
