Squarespace Domains
Connect Squarespace, an all-in-one website builder, with Webflow through embed codes for scheduling widgets and product displays, or custom API development for data synchronization.

How to integrate Squarespace with Webflow
Squarespace and Webflow have no native integration. Two approaches exist: embedding content using code elements (straightforward) or custom API development (requires significant development resources).
Important: Most API-based integrations require backend development, custom middleware infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance. Embedding approaches are more practical for teams without engineering resources.
Embed content with custom code
Embed Squarespace elements into Webflow pages using the Code Embed element. This works for scheduling widgets (Acuity), product displays, and other embeddable Squarespace features.
To embed Squarespace content in Webflow:
- Copy the embed code from your Squarespace widget or feature
- Add a Code Embed element to your Webflow page
- Paste the Squarespace code
- Publish your site
Webflow's Code Embed element accepts HTML, CSS, and JavaScript up to 50,000 characters. For site-wide implementation, use Site Settings → Custom Code.
You can also embed Webflow content in Squarespace using Embed Blocks (supports URLs or custom HTML) or Code Blocks (up to 300,000 characters).
Note: Embedding creates visual displays but doesn't sync data between platforms.
Build with APIs
Custom API integration enables data synchronization but requires development expertise.
Complexity warning: Both platforms use OAuth 2.0 authentication, require custom middleware (serverless functions or hosted backend), and have significant rate limits. Squarespace limits order creation to 100 requests/hour; Webflow allows 60-120 requests/minute, depending on plan.
Critical limitation: Squarespace's Forms API lacks public endpoint documentation. Syncing Squarespace form submissions requires contacting Squarespace directly for custom API specifications or using third-party tools like Zapier.
Webhook limitations: Squarespace offers only 3 webhook event types: order.create, order.update, and extension.uninstall. No webhooks exist for inventory updates, form submissions, or product changes — these require polling APIs at intervals, creating delayed/stale data.
What you can build
Integrating Squarespace with Webflow is practical for embedding and migration scenarios. Running both platforms permanently is not recommended due to maintenance complexity.
- Scheduling widget display: Embed Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace's scheduling tool) on Webflow pages using Code Embed. Straightforward, no development required.
- Product showcase pages: Embed Squarespace product displays on Webflow marketing pages. Transactions process through Squarespace; Webflow handles presentation.
- E-commerce order dashboard (advanced): Build a Webflow CMS dashboard displaying Squarespace order data via the Orders API. Requires custom development. Note: Order creation limited to 100/hour.
- Content migration: Export Squarespace content as XML, convert to CSV, then import to Webflow CMS. One-time process for platform transitions.
Frequently asked questions
No. These platforms are standalone website builders. Neither offers native connectors to the other. Integration requires custom API development or embedding content via code elements. Most teams use these platforms for migration scenarios rather than permanent dual-platform operations.
Not easily. Squarespace's Forms API lacks public endpoint documentation. To capture Squarespace form data, you'd need to contact Squarespace directly for custom API specifications or use third-party automation tools like Zapier that may offer form integrations.
No. Squarespace has no webhook events for inventory changes. Synchronization requires polling the Inventory API at intervals, which creates data drift between polling cycles and consumes API quota. Real-time inventory sync is not feasible with the current Squarespace APIs.
Squarespace: 300 requests/minute general, 100 order creations/hour. Webflow: 60-120 requests/minute depending on plan. These limits constrain bulk operations and high-traffic scenarios.
Export content from Squarespace as XML (WordPress format). Some content types like download products cannot be exported directly. Product data requires separate CSV export. Convert XML to CSV format, then import to Webflow CMS using their import tools.
