How to integrate Quilly with Webflow

Quilly automates content generation and publishing directly to Webflow CMS collections. This lets you run programmatic SEO campaigns and maintain recurring blog content without writing each post manually.

The integration connects through the Quilly app on the Webflow Apps marketplace. After you install the app and authorize via OAuth, you configure ghostwriters through Quilly's interface. No embed codes, custom scripts, or API calls are required.

Use the Quilly app

The Quilly app provides the official integration between Quilly and Webflow. Install it from the Webflow Apps marketplace to connect your Webflow site through OAuth authorization, then configure automated content publishing through Quilly's interface. The app requires read/write access to your CMS data, assets, and site information.

The setup process follows four steps according to the official Quilly documentation:

• Name and configure your ghostwriter by selecting the target Webflow site, choosing a CMS collection, setting publishing frequency, and defining the writing style
• Set content themes and keywords to guide AI content generation toward specific topics or SEO targets
• Map CMS fields using the drag-and-drop interface to connect generated content (titles, body text, images, meta descriptions) to your Webflow collection fields
• Choose a publishing mode for either automatic live publishing or draft mode for manual review before publication

First posts typically appear within 15-30 minutes after you launch a ghostwriter. The platform supports all Webflow CMS field types: text fields, image fields, item references, dropdown options, multi-image fields, and meta titles and descriptions.

Before you connect, prepare your Webflow CMS collection with fields for Title, Body, Summary, Image, Meta-Description, and Meta-Title. Field names and types must match Quilly's expected structure to avoid validation errors during publishing.

You can configure ghostwriters to publish content up to twice daily. Content can be published live immediately or saved as drafts in your Webflow CMS for review. If posts don't appear, check the ghostwriter error logs in Quilly's dashboard for CMS field validation mismatches.
