Evolving teamwork with new content editing and commenter roles

Introducing new roles in the Designer to supercharge content editing and to make building in Webflow more collaborative.

We’re excited to introduce two new roles designed to supercharge how teams work together in Webflow.

Edit mode & role for content editors in the Designer

The edit role gives your content editing teammates a more robust toolset to do their work in a secure, custom-built environment. This new role takes the foundations of the existing Editor experience and layers on a number of net-new capabilities like adding content prior to publishing, managing assets, and more. Available today on Core, Growth, Agency, Freelancer, and Enterprise Workspace plans.

Free commenter role for anyone to leave feedback

Up until now, only Workspace members and guests were able to share, review, and resolve comments in the Designer. Starting today, Workspace members can invite anyone into Webflow in a comment-only capacity to leave feedback for free — eliminating the time-consuming process of sharing screenshots outside of Webflow or using third-party tools to drive the alignment you need. Available today on all Workspace plans.

For all the details on these new ways for teams to work together in Webflow, check out the announcement on our blog.
