Improved Localization Support for Page Branching and Components

Improved support for localized components in branches, including update detection, sync from main, and cross-locale conflict resolution.

Improved Localization Support for Page Branching and Components

For our Localization customers, we've made a series of improvements to provide a more predictable and reliable experience when managing localized components across page branches. Here’s what’s new:

Detect changes across locales

When component content changes on your site, whether in the primary locale or any secondary locale, those changes are now automatically detected when you check for updates from your page branch. This reduces the risk of publishing outdated or inconsistent information.

Streamline updates from your main site to your page branches

You can now pull localized component updates from your main site into your page branch, ensuring your content stays in sync and consistent as you build.

Resolve conflicts across locales

If both the main site and your page branch have modified the same component, even in different locales, Webflow will now detect the conflict, notify you, and guide you through resolving it safely and clearly.
