Created with teams in mind, the new limited designer role allows you to invite teammates or clients to safely build pages in Webflow, while reducing the risk of anyone making changes that can break the design of your site. This new role is available for Webflow Enterprise customers and Enterprise Partners on Workspaces. Teammates with the limited designer role:

• Can build pages with existing classes and symbols
• Can create new classes
• Can’t modify existing classes or symbols

The limited designer role was created to allow you to do the following:

• Protect your site — prevent teammates from accidentally modifying classes and symbols that can break other parts of the site.
• Empower your team to work with confidence — give teammates the confidence to do their work without fear of accidentally modifying existing designs.

The limited designer role is called ‘Can design (limited)’ in Webflow and can be found in the Members tab of your Workspace settings. To learn more about the role, check out our documentation and get in touch with your Customer Success or Partner Manager.
