In a continued effort to improve site performance for all of our customers, we’re happy to share that we now support AVIF images in Webflow.
AVIF (AV1 Image File Format) is a modern, more compact image format that lets you serve high-quality images in a smaller size than traditional JPEG and WebP formats. This helps your sites load faster and rank better in search results –without compromising the quality of your images.
With this release, you can now upload new AVIF images and convert your existing images to AVIF format.
