What are some fun things to do/eat/drink nearby?
What to do in San Francisco
Patricia’s Green (Hayes Valley)
Located just a few blocks away from SFJAZZ is Patricia’s Green — the de facto town square of the Hayes Valley neighborhood. Here, you can grab a quick cup of coffee at Ritual or Blue Bottle (or a juice at The Juice Shop if that’s more your speed), enjoy people (and dog) watching, and check out the latest Burning Man-inspired art installation as you take in the bustling neighborhood around you.
Asian Art Museum (Civic Center)
A short walk from SFJAZZ towards San Francisco’s Civic Center is the Asian Art Museum. Housing one of the most comprehensive Asian art collections in the world — the museum holds more than 18,000 works in its permanent collection — spanning 6,000 years.
Currently, the museum is hosting Takashi Murakami’s first solo exhibition (!!!) in San Francisco. To learn more — check out the Asian Art Museum site.
Alamo Square (Alamo Square/Divisadero Corridor)
A bit further out — Alamo Square is one of, if not the, most iconic view of San Francisco. Made popular by the 90s sitcom Full House, the park features colorful Victorian houses dotting the edges while the skyline of downtown San Francisco rises behind.
After taking your prerequisite Alamo Square picture — grab a sandwich from nearby Lucinda’s Deli and enjoy the sights.
A note of caution — the walk to Alamo Square from SFJAZZ can be a bit steep, so we recommend catching the 21 bus outbound from any of the Hayes Street stops.
Where to eat in San Francisco
Nojo Ramen Tavern (Hayes Valley)
One of our favorite ramen spots in the city, Nojo Ramen Tavern, is located just across the street from SFJAZZ. Enjoy their signature soy sauce ramen or one of their many chicken or veggie options. And trust us — you won’t want to skip the gyoza.
Dumpling Home (Hayes Valley)
Craving dumplings? Steamed, boiled or pan-fried — Dumpling Home has got you covered.
Souvla (Hayes Valley)
Inspired by Greek souvlakis — Souvla is an SF-based fast-casual chain that serves salads or wraps filled with veggies and your choice of roasted proteins — chicken, pork, or beef. There are also veggie options for non-meat eaters, as well as different sides and soups. And just a tip — don’t skip out on the soft serve. We recommend getting it with baklava crumbles.
Where to drink in San Francisco
Biergarten (Hayes Valley)
Looking for a casual place to grab a drink with friends? Biergarten — located just blocks from SFJAZZ is the perfect spot. Come here for German beers and classic German pub food like pretzels and sausages.
Anina (Hayes Valley)
If cocktails are more your speed, just head over across Patricia’s Green to Anina. Inspired by the tropics — Anina is bright, summery, and has everything from spritzes and aperitivos to punch bowls meant for sharing. On a sunny San Francisco day — Anina’s patio is great to meet up with old and new Webflow friends alike.

The New York event will be one of our more intimate roadshow events that will be in-person only. It will feature New York-exclusive product keynotes, breakout sessions and hands-on learning. Given the smaller and more intimate size of the event there will be more opportunities to connect with Webflow team members and other members of the Webflow community.

What are some fun things to do/eat/drink nearby?
What to do in New York
One World Observatory (Financial District)
Take in the New York City skyline from the highest point in the city — One World Trade Center. One World Observatory is 100 floors above street level and features 360-degree uninterrupted views — you won’t want to miss it.
The Oculus (Financial District)
In the World Trade Center complex, there’s also the Oculus — one of the newer architectural gems in the city. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, the Oculus — which houses the World Trade Center transit hub — is framed by white rib-like structures reaching upwards to mimic a hand releasing a dove and houses dozens of retail stores.
The Brooklyn Bridge (Two Bridges & Dumbo)
For a change of pace, head east for about 10 minutes to take a stroll across the historic Brooklyn Bridge. You’ll get some of the most iconic views of the bridge, the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines, and the East River.
Where to eat in New York
Manhatta (Financial District)
Looking for dinner with a view? Look no further than Manhatta — an upscale new American restaurant helmed by Danny Meyer with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. Try standouts like the oysters and freshwater eel.
Liberty Bagels (Financial District)
If you’re looking for an authentic, hand-rolled, kettle-boiled New York bagel — look no further than Liberty Bagels, one of our favorite bagel spots on this side of town. Even though they’re famous for their rainbow bagel, our tastes lean more towards their classic lox and cream cheese or their bacon, egg and cheese. Perfect for some pre-Webflow Conf fuel or a midday pick me up.
Nom Wah Tea Parlor (Chinatown)
For over 100 years, Nom Wah Tea Parlor has been a Chinatown staple that specializes in Dim Sum — or Chinese small plates. Head over here for all the dumplings, radish cakes, buns, and spring rolls your heart desires.
Where to drink in New York
Cedar Local (Financial District)
Just a short walk over from the Webflow Conf venue is Cedar Local — a casual craft cocktail bar located in the heart of FiDi. Come here for a quick post-Conf watermelon mojito and bar bites.
The Django (Tribeca)
Further afield in Tribeca is the Django — an subterranean jazz club with exposed brick and vaulted ceilings. Inspired by the nightclubs of Paris, the Django is worth the slight trek north for great cocktails and even better live music.
The in-person Chicago experience
When is the Chicago event?
The Chicago event will be hosted on October 12th. Doors will open at 9 am and programming will begin at 10am.

What to do in Chicago
The SkyDeck at Willis Tower (The Loop)
Besides the Bean — which our Chicago Webflowers graciously let us know is currently under construction — Willis Tower might be the most iconic attraction in Chicago. Rising 110 stories above street level, the SkyDeck provides 360-degree views of the skyline with sky boxes that extend out 4.5 feet to give you the full feeling of floating in the clouds. The best part of Willis Tower is our Chicago Webflow Conf venue is located next door — making the Skydeck perfect for a quick stopover between sessions.
Millennium Park (The Loop)
Sure, the Bean might not be available to view — but the park it’s in is pretty great. Located in the heart of downtown and the east side of the Loop, Millennium Park has wide grassy lawns, tranquil gardens, interactive fountains and even rock climbing. It’s a can’t-miss for your Chicago itinerary.
Chicago Architecture Center River Cruise (The Loop)
Hop aboard the Chicago Architecture Center’s river cruise as docents give you a fascinating tour of Chicago’s history and the art deco buildings that line the river. The most popular time to go is at sunset, but tickets go fast — so we’d recommend pre-booking.
Where to eat in Chicago
Revival Food Hall (The Loop)
Craving empanadas, and then a poke bowl, and then dosas? Then Revival Food Hall is the spot for you. Housing pretty much every type of cuisine under the sun, it’s the perfect go-to when your group can’t decide where to go for lunch.
Alla Vita (West Loop)
Right across the river is Alla Vita, an Italian restaurant serving the classics — pizza, pasta, and chicken parm (and others — of course). Alla Vita’s dining room is gorgeous, and the food is even better. It’s no secret, reservations can be hard to snag, so we highly recommend making one in advance if you’re looking to dine at this spot. A tip: if you’re dining solo or in a small group, the first-come, first-serve bar is a great option if you don’t have a reservation.
Cafecito (The Loop)
When it comes to sandwiches in The Loop — forget Subway. In Chicago, it’s all about Cafecito — a Cuban coffee house and cafe with multiple locations across the city. Come here for Cubanos, plantains, and get a cafecito to go.
Where to drink in Chicago
Monk's Pub (The Loop)
Entering Monk’s Pub is like leaving The Loop and entering a new world. Housed in a Tudor building and stuffed full of Europeans antiques and vintage chandeliers — Monk’s has every burger you could ever want and a catalog’s worth of Belgian beers, ales, and IPAs.

What to do in London
Sky Garden (City of London)
While you’re in town, check out Sky Garden, London’s highest public garden. Showcasing landscaped gardens, a top floor restaurant, and some of the most breathtaking views of the city, Sky Garden, is an experience like no other.
Old Spitalfields Market (Whitechapel)
If you’re looking to do a little shopping, head north to Old Spitalfields Market. Open for more than 350 years, the market sells everything from the old to the new. From antiques and vintage clothing to handmade, one-of-a-kind items — Spitalfields Market is the perfect place for a unique souvenir or gift.
Tower of London (City of London)
A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Tower of London is a must-see while you’re visiting. Built by William the Conquerer in 1066 to protect the City of London, the Tower of London is home to the Crown Jewels, the iconic Beefeaters, and layers of British history.
Where to eat in London
Brigadiers (City of London)
Sure, everyone’s going to tell you you need to go to Dishoom for Indian food, but our personal preference is Brigadiers. Inspired by the army mess halls of India, Brigadiers specializes in Indian barbecue and street food. And the portion sizes are large, so dishes are perfect to share with a big group.
Ottolenghi (Spitalfields)
A London classic, Ottolenghi serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes that are fresh, light, and delicious. The real stars of the show are their pastries, located up front in their bakery case. Pop by and grab everything from cakes and tarts, to croissants. We’re partial to the polenta lemon cake.
Duck and Waffle (City of London)
For a classic British meal, you can’t go wrong with Duck and Waffle, located just steps from the Webflow Conf venue. Come here for classics like roast chicken, lamb belly, and yes — duck and waffle.
Where to drink in London
The Nickel Bar at The Ned (City of London)
For a *fancy* experience we recommend heading over to the Nickel Bar, housed in the bottom floor of the Ned. Inspired by a classic American bar, the Nickel Bar has great gin martinis, cocktails, and live music
Any pub in London
The best part of London is you’re always spitting distance from a fantastic pub. Around 5pm, pop into the nearest one, grab a pint, and huddle outside the doorway to socialize with new friends and old friends alike.
