New APIs: Component, Variables and Localization

Three new APIs to help developers build powerful Webflow Apps for our latest features.

New APIs: Component, Variables and Localization

To support our recent product launches across Components, Variables, and Localization, we are releasing three new APIs that give developers flexible ways to deliver scalable, reusable components and styling through Apps, as well as fresh integration opportunities with our new localization product.

Here’s what’s new:

  • First, we are releasing a new suite of Components Designer APIs that will allow Developers add, bind, and manage components on a Webflow site – unlocking new ways for Apps to add to, and engage with, a site’s design system.
  • Next, we are adding a new Variables Designer API that will allow Developers to define and manage variables, like color, font and size for streamlined design system management via Webflow Apps.
  • Finally, in the next month, we will be releasing a new Localization APIs that will allow developers to seamlessly integrate third-party translation management systems with Webflow’s new Localization product. You can sign up for early access to this API here
