Prism - Website Template

Prism is a highly unique portfolio template. Everything, from original animations to innovatively solved elements like slider or menu to graphic elements – is to give you a template unlike any other. At the same time, it strikes the perfect balance between presenting your projects in a way that makes a strong impression and not taking away the spotlight from them. Many effects are used here, like gluey animation of the CTA button, background blurring, animating photos, and so on… but all this is used with taste and moderation. All in all, you and your projects are the story's hero, not the website.

Prismatic animations: All you need to do is choose the photo you would like to use, and these unique animations will work automatically. And they’re created entirely in Webflow – they don’t use videos, gifs, Lottie animations, or special external JS libraries. The same goes for every other animation used in the template.

CMS: Projects and their categories use the Webflow CMS, which makes adding new pages a trifle, and overall website management easier.

Auto-Slider: There’s a slider on the homepage that serves the purpose of presenting the projects that you are the proudest of in a manner of full-screen banners. It is fully automatic and will display any number of projects (maximum ten); all you need to do is to select projects of your choice as “featured” in the CMS - numbering of sections, navigation, and so on will adjust on its own.

Multi-reference categories: You don’t have to bend over backwards to figure out which category you should select for a given project. For example, if you want to highlight the fact that you created illustrations, design, and Social Media campaign for a project – you can bind several categories to it. It can also be a beneficial feature if you’re building up your portfolio, allowing you to do more with less – when each project belongs to several categories, there are more items in each category.

Unique fullscreen menu: The fullscreen menu has its own style, no scrollbar, and is made without using any Custom Code.

Symbols: The template uses Webflow symbols functionality to make managing the website easier – for example, if you edit items in the menu, the change will appear everywhere on the website, even in the full-screen variant of the menu.

Lightweight and scalable graphics: All the icons and illustrations are SVG graphics, and as such, they are lightweight, work on any device, and can be scaled up or down without pixelation.

Style Customization: The template is made with ease of editing in mind - it uses global colors, fonts, buttons, etc., which you can manage on the Style Guide page. You can easily change the color of any element of the template. Change one of the colors in the template’s palette, and see how the whole template changes, including graphic SVG elements. Even the background graphics in the footer and the fullscreen menu will change their color automatically!

Design quality: Prism is so much more than fancy animations and original technical solutions. As a person related to design, you will surely appreciate the skill and work put into the template’s design: from typography to composition, to the use of white space and the balance of elements of each page… all these things that make a difference between simply placing elements on a page, and designing them.

Perfectly Responsive: The template was created with full responsivity in mind, with 320 px being the minimum width. Responsiveness is top-shelf, with the layout being re-designed for each breakpoint to make it look great, no matter if your users are browsing your website on a monitor, tablet, or mobile phone. The design is perfectly responsive also in the opposite direction, above regular desktop - on ultra-high resolutions like 4k or even 8k
