Performance improvements in the Designer for large websites

Thanks to a slew of recent updates and optimizations, navigating and working in the Designer should now feel a bit faster — especially for sites with 50 pages or more. 

Here’s a list of specific areas within the Designer where we’ve made things a bit faster:

• Opening the Designer and loading your project
• Switching between pages takes less time
• Improved speed in the Pages panel, Element settings, Navigator, and Style Manager
• Working with grid layouts is more responsive
• …and more is on the way!

These are just a selection of some recent updates we wanted to share, but there’s still more to come as we continue to test and roll out improvements — as well as improvements to overall publishing stability and experience. So keep your eyes peeled for more!
